Braihim Mohcin was born on February 8, 1992 in Delft. His alter ego DJ Bombastic sees the light of day eight years later, when the new century has just started. 'I was playing around with a few CD turntables, bought CDs at the Free Record Shop in the village. I didn't call myself Bombastic at the time, but the foundation for who I am now and what I do now was laid," Braihim says about the early days. At school and class parties, he continues to expand his mixing skills and record knowledge. "You really have to perform as a DJ in practice, with an audience present. You have to learn to entertain people, you have to know what gets them on the dance floor and what keeps them on the dance floor.
